Year 12 LAE Politics and MFL students recently had the opportunity to attend a special session at Europe House in Westminster, gaining valuable insights into the workings of the European Union. This timely visit coincided with the announcement of the European Parliament election results, making it an even more enriching experience for students.

With a focus on fostering a deeper understanding of UK-EU relations, LAE Politics department has established itself as a champion for European engagement within the school. Our visit to Europe House builds upon our successful tour of EU institutions in 2023, and plans are already underway for a return trip in December 2024.

As a new member of the European Parliament Ambassador Schools programme, more events will follow to raise awareness of the EU amongst the wider student community.
