We're thrilled to announce two exciting new additions to our September 2024 sports program: Padel and Indoor Cricket.

After a series of meetings with Essex Cricket and a visit to the brand new Rocket Padel Ilford facility, we've secured fantastic opportunities for our students to learn and enjoy these fast-growing sports.

Rocket Padel: A Cutting-Edge Experience

Padel is a captivating blend of tennis and squash and has been rapidly gaining popularity in London. Its easy-to-learn yet challenging nature makes it a perfect sport for LAE students, and staff. With a new, state-of-the art £3 million facility open in Ilford we have the chance to offer a world-class environment for our students to experience the growing sport of Padel under the nurturing eye of experienced coaches. 

Indoor Cricket: Hone Your Skills with Essex Cricket

Our partnership with Essex Cricket will bring indoor cricket to LAE this September. Sessions will be held at Leyton Leisure Centre and coached by qualified professionals from Essex Cricket. This program goes beyond practice, as students will have the opportunity to participate in matches and even join leagues outside of LAE.

LAE remains committed to providing our students with the best possible sports experiences and once we have finalised all the details we will add these new sports to our offerings for next year.
