Results Day at LAE

Results Day was a day of celebration at the LAE. The class of 2025 has achieved fantastic results, marking another year of academic excellence for our school.

More than two thirds of grades achieved by LAE students were in the range A*-A for the seventh year running. These results unlock exciting paths for students who will be studying as far away as Harvard, and closer to home at top institutions such as Harvard University, Oxford, Cambridge, the LSE, UCL and many medical schools.

Delighted with their results, these high-achievers cite LAE’s co-curricular programmes as helping them to realise their ambitions. “There is just so much support”, said Menabe, who has a place at Cambridge to study biology. “When I arrived at LAE, I never thought I could apply to Cambridge, I just didn’t think it was possible for someone like me.” This mindset shift is a core part of our mission to support young people from all backgrounds to unlock their potential, and to achieve the grades they deserve.

Many of our students today have faced significant challenges in their home lives: from caring responsibilities, to navigating seeking asylum, to illness, bereavement and family separation. But with the steadfast support of LAE’s extensive pastoral care, every student has had access to the support they need to aim high and thrive.

Today there is much to celebrate, and we look forward to seeing where our students’ ambition takes them in the coming years as they make their mark on the world.
