London Academy of Excellence is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher for this unique Academic Sixth Form.

Due to the internal promotion of the current postholder, the Academy is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to execute the vision and values of the Academy. LAE was established in 2012 and holds an embedded mission of social mobility.

The new postholder should align with the mission of the school and work within an established SLT as we take ownership of a brand-new school premises, Hawthorne House, in Sept 26. LAE has sustained and will continue to experience substantial growth in its pupil numbers. 

To apply, candidates should complete an application form available via the school website. Candidates should also submit a letter of application, addressed to Ms. E. Rahman, Headteacher Designate. The letter should be no more than two pages long and should be tailored to the role. 

The closing date for applications is noon on 9.00am on Monday 13 April 2026. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a two-day selection process on Monday 27 April and Tuesday 28 2026.
