LAE student wins WCIB 2023 Schools' Essay Prize

We are delighted to announce that, for the fourth year running, an LAE student has been judged the winner of the prestigious Worshipful Company of International Bankers (WCIB) Schools' Essay competition. Our congratulations go to the overall winner, LAE Year 12 student Otonye Ibiami.

Congratulations also to entrants from schools all around London who submitted excellent 1,000 word essays addressing the essay title: “The Prime Minister has said “AI (Artificial Intelligence) could transform our lives for the better if used safely and securely. ” Write a letter to the Prime Minister outlining the opportunities and challenges AI will bring to education. How would you advise the Prime Minister respond to these challenges?”

Otonye's essay will now be submitted to the Prime Minister, and we hope that he takes note of her thoughts and opinions.
